Who are we…

We are Richard and Rachael, a husband and wife team from Northampton. We’ve been married for 8 years and together for 16. We live with our little bundle of fluffy cat love Luna, who is 13 and rules everything 🙂

Rachael is a photographer and has covered weddings for the past 6 years. Richard’s day job is in data analysis but spends a lot of his free time working with wood. 

Most of our items are either handmade, recycled or reused in some way as we want to protect the environment as much as possible.

Why Ivy & Oak?

Ivy is a symbol of eternal life as it is evergreen and represents fidelity, it won’t let go of something so easily.

The Oak tree symbolises strength, wisdom and endurance and the acorns it produces can be a symbol of good luck.
